Society's obsession with 'mental health' makes it worse.

Unpopular opinion: Society’s obsession with mental health, Is making mental health worse.

(What we chase, we make more elusive)

Putting a lot of our attention on mental illness emphasises a problem that is not there.

I'm not denying suffering, so please listen carefully to what I mean in the video.

It’s about seeing that the ‘ideals’ we are seeking - like ‘mental health’ or ‘happiness’ emphasises the idea that we haven’t got it.

In reality we already have these things.

We need to enjoy life for what it is, rather than to try to ‘fix’ something about us.
